Paris hosted a high-level meeting between representatives of the Department of Industry, Ecological Transition and Digital Business of the Government of Navarra and the public company Sodena with the company China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), one of the most important international groups in the field of industrial construction.
The meeting culminated with the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Minister of Industry, Ecological Transition and Digital Business, Mikel Irujo, and the CEO of the Asian company, Luo Jianpeng.
The objective of this document is to promote collaboration between China State Construction Engineering Corp., specifically through its subsidiary China Mediterranean Holding (CMH), and Sodena in the areas of infrastructure development, sustainable construction, investment promotion and other areas mutually agreed upon.
Areas of cooperation include the exploration of possible investment and co-development opportunities in Navarra and internationally, or support for business and institutional connections between companies and entities on both sides.
“The agreement signed opens the door to new opportunities for investment, knowledge exchange and technological cooperation in the field of advanced industry,” said Minister Irujo, who is also president of Sodena, who was accompanied by Guillermo Alonso, head of Sodena's Invest Navarra attraction area, and Iñigo Arruti, general director of Business Development and Infrastructures of the Navarrese government.
The Chinese delegation, along with Luo Jianpeng, was joined by Lyu Taizhong, General Manager of Horizon Build Company, also a subsidiary of CSCEC, Kaidi Yan, Director of Administration, and Ina Wang, from the China Council for the Promotion of Trade in the Construction Sector.
