Find out about the new edition of the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE).

Beijing will once again be the epicenter of global trade this coming June. The fourth edition of the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) will be held from June 22 to 26, 2026 at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Venue) in Beijing, thus consolidating one of the most relevant business forums on the international scene for supply chains.

Under the slogan «Connecting the World for a Shared Future» —Connecting the world for a shared future—, the fourth edition of CISCE arrives with a significant innovation: the launch of its first zone entirely dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, which will offer a comprehensive view of the AI ecosystem, covering data, computing power, and practical applications. For Spain, the event represents a first-rate opportunity in a context where bilateral Sino-Spanish relations are going through a particularly fruitful period.

CISCE is not a last-minute event. In just three editions, it has become a global benchmark. The first edition, held in Beijing in November 2023, brought together 515 Chinese and foreign companies and institutions—including 261 international exhibitors from 55 countries and regions—and attracted more than 150,000 visitors, of whom more than 80,000 were buyers and industry professionals.

The second edition, held in November 2024, far surpassed previous records. More than 600 companies participated, representing a 201% increase over the first edition, with foreign exhibitors accounting for 321% of the total—up from 261% the previous year. The economic results were equally outstanding: during the five-day event, more than 210 commercial agreements and provisional agreements were signed, with a total value exceeding 152 billion yuan, equivalent to approximately $21 billion.

The third edition, held in July 2025, maintained momentum. On the occasion of the promotion of CISCE in Spain, the honorary president of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Ren Hongbin, visited Madrid and emphasized that the expo's objective is to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of both countries and to continue promoting bilateral economic and trade relations. Spanish companies responded with enthusiasm: the Spanish business sector recognized China's role in promoting stability and cooperation in the global supply chain and expressed its willingness to actively participate in CISCE, leveraging its strengths in logistics, manufacturing, and energy.

For the 2026 edition, CISCE will organize its offerings around six major industrial chains: advanced manufacturing, clean energy, intelligent vehicles, digital technology, healthy living, and green agriculture, in addition to a supply chain services zone. With over 500 exhibitors already confirmed at the start of the countdown period, prospects point to a record-breaking edition.

Spain's participation in the CISCE is taking place at a particularly positive moment for bilateral relations. As the Minister of Economy, Trade, and Enterprise, Carlos Cuerpo, pointed out during the Spain-China Business Meeting held in Chengdu in 2025: «Spanish and Chinese companies are already acting as global partners, generating synergies that open up new business opportunities.» In this context, CISCE 2026 represents a new window of opportunity for Spanish companies to fully integrate into the global value chains being built from China.
