Zhang Li pointed out that CPECC has more than 40 years of experience in the energy sector and offers comprehensive capabilities encompassing planning, design, EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction), and operation and maintenance. For his part, Carvalho stated that EDP is moving decisively toward its net-zero emissions target by 2040, and that there are ample investment opportunities in the modernization of the Iberian grid, the development of new energies, energy storage, and green hydrogen. NARI Group, a research and industrial unit directly under State Grid, holds a leading position in the country in electrical automation and smart grid technologies.
